1. Power Cable Not Compatible / Doesn’t Fit

Issue: The power cable does not match the original vehicle connector.

Solutions:

  • If your original car plug is a large Quadlock plug, you can directly use our standard power cable.
  • If your car uses an ISO plug, you’ll need the special Plug-B for ISO: Product link.
  • If your car has an MQB plug, this unit is not compatible. Please switch to RCD360 PRO2 or RCD360 PRO3S.

2. Original Car Wiring Modified / Aftermarket Wiring

Issue: The original car wiring has been modified or previously customized, causing incompatibility (especially CAN signal mismatch).

Solution: Please contact customer service and send a clear photo of your original car plug so we can identify the correct solution.

3. Car Battery Drain / Stereo Cannot Fully Power Off

Issue: The stereo does not completely shut down after turning off the ignition. Common symptoms include:

  • The stereo can still be powered on after removing the car key.
  • The button backlight stays illuminated.
  • CarPlay remains connected even when the vehicle is off.

Cause: This is not caused by the head unit itself. It is often due to an outdated CAN Gateway that fails to transmit the shutdown signal correctly via CAN communication.

Diagnosis checklist:

  1. Headlight sync test: turn headlights on/off — does button backlight respond? → If yes, CAN is partially working.
  2. Bluetooth test: if Bluetooth works normally, some signals are working but shutdown communication may be missing.

Solution: Use the yellow power drain fix wire:

  • If it was not included, please contact us — we’ll send it free of charge.
  • Follow the wiring instruction video below.

4. Poor FM/AM Signal / Incompatible Antenna Plug

Issue: Weak or no FM/AM signal. Common symptoms:

  • Weak or no signal
  • Very few stations during auto-scan
  • Static or noise during playback

Product specs:

  • AM: 530 – 1600 KHz
  • FM: 87.5 – 108 MHz

Possible causes & solutions:

  1. Check antenna connection: ensure firmly connected; try reversing/flipping the antenna connector direction.
  2. Adapter may be needed: if your connector matches the image below, you may need an additional adapter.

5. CarPlay Not Connecting

Issue: Your iPhone is not connecting to the CarPlay system.

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check the USB cable:
    • Make sure the cable is properly recognized by the stereo.
    • Try several different original Apple cables to rule out cable issues.
  2. Check your iPhone system:
    • Try resetting phone settings or testing with another iPhone to determine if the issue is phone-related.
  3. Check the USB port:
    • Ensure the USB port is not loose or damaged.
    • Try gently adjusting the cable to see if the connection is intermittent.
