This kit is intended for compatible Ford vehicles originally equipped with an 8-inch MyFord Touch SYNC 2 system. Select your vehicle model and year, then send SCUMAXCON support your model, year, VIN and a photo of the original screen and dashboard. Model year alone is not enough to confirm compatibility. For F-250, confirm the year, VIN and original system with us before ordering.

This SCUMAXCON retrofit kit includes a new aftermarket touchscreen and a refurbished APIM. The other supplied components are aftermarket parts. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto are enabled by the included adapter.

Wired & Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto

SYNC 3 supports wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through a compatible USB connection. Wireless connectivity is provided by the included external adapter; it is not a native wireless feature of SYNC 3. Your phone must support the relevant connection mode.

VIN Programming Before Dispatch

Your APIM is pre-programmed to match your vehicle using the VIN you provide. Please send these details before or after placing your order. The kit is dispatched after programming is completed; missing vehicle details may delay dispatch.

Factory Features & Navigation

Designed to retain supported factory functions such as the rear-view camera, climate controls, steering wheel controls and heated or cooled seat controls where originally fitted. Confirm your vehicle configuration with SCUMAXCON support before ordering.

Installation & Support

The screen, APIM and USB hub work together for the SYNC 2 to SYNC 3 conversion. Installation involves dashboard removal and replacing these components.
